Allie began her yoga journey at thirteen years old when her mother brought her to a hot yoga class. As a very active high school student, she fell in love with yoga as a form of physical activity and movement. What stuck, however, was not the physical aspect but the introspective quality and connection with one’s self the practice fostered. Moving forward eight years, Allie completed her 200h Hatha Vinyasa YTT in Gili Meno, Indonesia. Since then, Allie has taught in a variety of studios in and around Toronto including Chandra Yoga Shala and Sama Studio. More recently, Allie has focused her practice and teaching on making yoga accessible to more communities and populations- she is a proud teacher of KEYS to Inclusion and now Little Yogis Academy! As a teacher, Allie places emphasis on creating an inclusive and accessible space that allows all students to be comfortable yet vulnerable simultaneously. Alongside her yoga journey is a love for the human mind that has led her to train as a psychotherapist at the Ontario Program for Counseling and Psychotherapy. Allie is ever interested in the intersection of mind and body as well as the dynamics and processes that run around and between them.
